Singapore Overview

With the economy growing at an impressive 7% and an affluent population the coffee industry is going gangbusters in Singapore.

Major chain operators are taking advantage of the growing preference for speciality coffee instead of the more traditional tea.

Australian chains are well respresented to take part in this market. Gloria Jeans and Dome Coffee are conspicuous.

The local industry is represented by the Singapore Coffee Association.
